Enhance your sewing skills with our intermediate sewing class centered around recreating the iconic Baggu crescent bag. In this 3 week class , you will create a Baggu dupe using the Bestie Bag pattern by BlackBird Fabrics. The class will take place every TUESDAY FOR 3 weeks 6-8 PM. MEETING DATES ARE 6/23,6/30, & 7/7. Learn intermediate techniques and create a sustainable and stylish accessory for daily use with the aid of a master sewer. Perfect for those looking to add a personal touch to their wardrobe. Basic sewing experience is highly encouraged. Newer sewers may not finish their bestie bag in the allotted amount of time and may want to schedule a private lesson to finish out. 

All students will be provided with the following materials:

All sewing notions required to complete the sewn accessory. This includes thread, polyurethane straps, and zipper. 

The Acid Lime studio has a class set of Bernina machines for each student to use. You may bring your own sewing machine if you prefer it. You may also want to bring any other notions or supplies you deem necessary for your sewing success. 

 STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED WITH THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS: 

Necessary fabric required for bag creation. Reccomended fabrics are denim, canvas, lightweight twill, heavy nylon, ripstop. For a medium bag please purchase 1.5 yards of 55 in wide fabric. For a small bag please purchase 1 yard of 55 in wide fabric. For questions about fabric please call us!
