TAKES PLACE ON SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 21ST 2025 FROM 2-5 PM. Increase your confidence with sewing and achieve the perfect fit for your wardrobe with Keylime Academy’s Alterations Workshop. In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn essential skills to perform alterations on your own clothing. Perfect for those who struggle with finding the right fit, with beginner sewing experience preferred.

EACH STUDENT MUST: 

Bring 2-4 items in need of altering. This will give our teacher the ability to choose the best pieces applicable to the amount of time we have. Some examples of good alterations to bring are- pant/skirt/dress/top hems, elastic waistbands, simple pant/skirt/dress taperings, sleeve shortening, button repair, and articles with small holes. 

STUDENTS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH:

a class set of sewing machines and all required notions to complete each project. Notions may include, elastic, buttons, thread, etc. Students may bring their own machines if desired.
